According to an article I read on bbc.co.uk upgrading to the latest version of Apples's operating system, might make a Mac less sucure. After reading this I was suprised. Most of my friends have Macs and they all have been overly excited about the new operating system, most of them bought it the day it came out. I found this article so interesting because Macs are known for being secure. Most viruses come from Microsoft computers for Microsoft computers. The article said "A test of Leopard revealed that installing it led to the firewall on a Mac being turned off and its default setting changed to leave it disabled". My personal opinion on Leopard is if there is a problem with it then the people should be made aware of it because it gives a false since of security. I'd rather know there is risk and buying it anyway than not knowing at all since Macs are known for being secure in a way Apple is lying to its customers.
